What is OHSAS 18001:2007?

OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001:2007 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational Health and Safety management systems. OHSAS 18001:2007 has been designed to work seamlessly with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environment).

OHSAS 18001:2007 will be replaced over the next three or four years by ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The ISO 45001 standard is due to be published in late 2017.
